- Vocal Range: Male, Older Teen to Senior

Howdy, I'm Juwan Royal.I grew up a shy, quiet boy with an active imagination and a love for fantasy: video games and cartoons captivated me early on, and, well, it's the same to this day. I always loved sound: doing impressions of characters from Super Smash Bros Melee; quoting scenes from Spongebob to my friends, verbatim; making audio skits with my friends using my Nintendo DSi. Sound made my experiences with media memorable, from music to voices to SFX. Acting, however, wasn't on the radar.In college, everything changed. I started a journey of deeper self-discovery: I began making music to express myself, share the things I felt but was afraid to say otherwise. I'd been thinking about doing voice acting for several months but was hesitant to make the jump (I'm a big over-thinker). I took a hip-hop based theater course, at my friend's suggestion (I love hip-hop), and it changed my life. The camaraderie we built as a crew; the pride my parents had in seeing me blossom and find my voice; learning how to see the value in my story. Acting gave me direction that nothing else ever had. Shoutout to my mentor and theater professor! Without her I'm not sure I'd be voice acting period.Following college, I finally jumped into voiceover. I began submitting auditions to online casting calls, trying for just about any role, spending hours on doing many auditions, recognizing the characters I'd get cast for, and slowly improving. From my time both with making music and making characters, the mic has come to mean so much to me.I'm the result of loving communities, guidance I will always treasure, and my passions brought to life from my own efforts. I take what I do seriously, but never take myself too seriously. I pride myself on lending my dynamic vocal range, positive energy, and strong teamwork skills to any project I am a part of. No matter the role, the role matters, and I give 100% to every single one.
